I was born in Columbus, Georgia. I grew up and graduated high school in Geneva, Alabama. After I graduated High School I worked construction full time and went to college at night and was able to obtain two degrees. I then got a job as the manufacturing engineer for one of the biggest companies in the southeast, Reliable Products. One day my former college instructor and mentor contacted me and asked If i would help him teach part time at night. I did help him for awhile until he retired and then I replaced him. I enjoyed teaching once I got a taste of it. I taught post secondary for several years and then one day my former high school came calling too. I had been an FFA alumni member for years and I decided to come back home to help teach my skills to the students here. I have a strong passion for teaching and the FFA. The FFA is the largest student organization in the country. It helped me with leadership, hard work and character. I try my best to continue the FFA tradition. Geneva FFA is one of the oldest FFA chapters in the state and I am doing my best to carry that tradition on proudly.
